Enjoy running and racing at whatever level I am able to. Possibly run another marathon post Microfracture Surgery in under 3:00.

I'm in the Army. I am married with four children (20/17/13/8 years old). Trying to return to previous running form after having microfracture knee surgery in July 2008.

Another easy but sore run. However, I am a little less sore today so progress is good. 7 miles for the day at a 7:28 average. Nice and relaxed but quads still hurt throughout.

What really shocks me is Sasha doing his standard 5 mile tempo run this morning and it was like he did not even run a marathon on Saturday. He only ran about 20-30 seconds slower than normal and he was taking it easy. There is something wrong/weird about anyone that can do this so soon after a marathon. Sasha has something strange going on that is for sure. I was telling him that he should take up ultra running as I think he could do very well and possibly be one of the best in the nation.

You know I don't really either feel soreness after a marathon. After I ran Boston I ran 5 miles the next day and really wasn't sore. Now I wonder if it's because Sasha and I are not pushing hard enough like we could in our marathon's. I think Sasha is capable of doing a 2:20. Did Sasha go all out for this marathon, because he's a master at running and a God gifted athlete.

Oh I forgot to mention way to respond back after a couple of days from the marathon. Your getting back to where you used to run (your PR 2:28)is right around the corner. I wish I could take two weeks and train with Sasha and you... that would be a great experience for me.

I will definitely see you in TOU Marathon.
